DIY: Fall Stovetop Simmer

Another treat that our friends picked up at our Friendsgiving celebration was their “goodie bag” filled with a fall stove top simmer. It was perfect for the next day and would surely help keep that fall feeling around. This stove top simmer was perfect to smell up an entire house for hours.
A stove top simmer is a great, clean, and eco-friendly way to have your entire home smell refreshing for hours. The best part is how extremely easy they are to do! Below, you can find all the information for your very own simmer:
  • 1 small tangerine or orange
  • 1 tablespoon of whole cloves
  • 2-4 Bay Leaves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 sprigs of Rosemary

 How To:

  1. Gather all ingredients
  2. Slice the tangerine/orange
  3. Add all ingredients to a pot
  4. Add 2 cups of water
  5. Leave on simmer
*Be sure to check frequently and add water as needed.*
I would love to hear how this fragrant fall recipe smells in your own home, so feel free to share! Xoxo
